# XIOR student housing

## Aanleiding

Xior bouwt al sinds 2007 als eigenaar en exploitant aan kwalitatieve en betrouwbare studentenhuizen voor studenten op zoek naar een plek waar ze in ideale omstandigheden kunnen studeren, wonen en leven. Omdat Xior haar klimaatambities zeer serieus neemt, wilde de organisatie het dak van haar panden aan de Becanusstraat in Maastricht laten voorzien van zonnepanelen. 

## Onze ondersteuning en oplossing

Xior liet een haalbaarheidsstudie uitvoeren door Zoncoalitie, op basis waarvan doelgericht kon worden gezocht naar een geschikte uitvoerder voor dit mooie project. Het matchingsproces vond plaats op ons platform met 20+ installateurs van zonne-energie.

Xior koos voor Devcon, een partij met ruime ervaring in het realiseren van dit soort duurzame energieprojecten. De betrokken huisinstallateur EPM constateerde dat de aansluiting van de koeling in de technische ruimte op het dak ook gebruikt worden voor de zonnepanelen, wat leidde tot een mooie besparing. Na een vlotte samenwerking werden de zonnepanelen succesvol gerealiseerd.
