Founded in Amsterdam.
Started as an initiative of the City of Amsterdam and the grid operator Alliander. The aim was to bring supply and demand together for solar energy on commercial real estate. Independent, with no hardware interest.
2018
Standing on our own.
The company becomes commercial. The current owners take it on, convinced that real estate owners need guidance from a party with nothing to sell. The first seminars for the largest property managers in the Netherlands confirm it.
2020
From advice through to management.
Our own application goes live with the first online tenders, alongside the first asset management pilots. Not only helping with the investment, but keeping a grip on what comes after it.
2022
B Corp certified.
Recognition that growth and responsibility belong together. A deliberate choice to measure and improve our impact, not only our revenue.
2024
Beyond PV.
A move to the whole energy system behind the meter. Battery storage, charging infrastructure, energy management. No longer solar alone, but the entire energy question.
2025
Built for reality.
The data model rebuilt in layers, with connections, tenants, assets and contracts as independent layers. The simulation model replaced by our own optimisation engine, which calculates PV, BESS, EV and generators together. First multi-asset projects live.
2026
Sampre.
Sustainable Asset Management Platform for Real Estate. New name, same mission. Ten years of experience, nineteen colleagues, clients with pan-European portfolios, 250 MWp in portfolio. The name changed. The mission did not.
